We at PS/MS 4 have a rigorous learning environment for students in grades 3-5 to get the students to be critical thinkers. As they transition into grades 3 through 5, our students are focused on increasing understanding of the texts they read thereby increasing their comprehension and strengthening their vocabulary skills. Students are given the opportunities to share their learning via a multitude of writing projects. The learning in grades three through five also includes mathematics, science and physical education.
